Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a Technical Business Analyst with deep DevSecOps experience for an initial 6-month contract in Sydney to bridge the gap between application security, software engineering squads, and enterprise governance.

In this high-visibility role embedded within engineering and security teams, you will translate security requirements into clear technical specifications and help integrate security controls, code scanning standards, and automated compliance into modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proven BA in complex software/security environments.
• Translate security policies into technical user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and automated security testing.

Responsibilities

• DevSecOps process mapping to shift left security into the SDLC.
• Translate security requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated code scanning (SAST, SCA, DAST) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document DevSecOps runbooks and governance artifacts.
• Facilitate workshops with Security Architects, DevOps leads, and Product Owners.
