Job summary

NCS Australia is seeking a hands-on DevScope SME / Senior DevSecOps Engineer to drive end-to-end design, implementation, and rollout of application security scanning standards across enterprise pipelines.

This delivery-focused role requires building, integrating, and deploying SAST, SCA, and DAST platforms from the ground up, with ownership of security scanning boundaries and CI/CD integration in a Sydney-based hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering enterprise-grade SAST, SCA and DAST tooling.
• Hands-on DevSecOps automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of AppSec and vulnerability management.
• Scripting and API integration to automate scanning workflows.
• Location in Sydney with Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end configuration, deployment and integration of code scanning platforms across enterprise repositories.
• Establish baseline rulesets and enforcement for SAST, SCA and DAST.
• Embed automated security testing stages and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Define operational scope, triage workflows and optimize rulesets.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enable secure development practices.
