Job summary

OpenTalent in Sydney is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Security Consultant/Engineer for a contract role. You will lead security discovery, risk assessment, and cloud/app development environment reviews to strengthen our client’s security posture.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in Cyber/Cloud/Application Security or DevSecOps, with hands-on experience using Orca Security and GitHub Advanced Security to evaluate risk and implement controls. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cyber security, cloud security, application security, or DevSecOps engineering.
• Proven ability to perform security discovery, risk assessment, and posture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive DevSecOps security discovery, assessment, and risk evaluation across cloud, applications, and development environments.
• Perform security posture reviews using Orca Security and GitHub Advanced Security to identify gaps and implement controls.
