Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our security engineering team in Sydney. You will implement security controls, monitor for incidents, and work across cloud environments (AWS, Azure) to harden systems.

You will identify vulnerabilities, conduct threat modeling and code reviews, and help define policies to meet Zero Trust and OWASP Top 10 standards. Strong scripting in Python and Bash is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in security engineering.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with security tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, SIEM platforms).
