Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a collaborative software professional to support and guide the SDLC across multiple programs within AIR6500. You will help automate builds, maintain DevOps infrastructure and enable agile delivery to improve automation, security, reliability and speed.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux/Windows development experience, end-to-end engineering lifecycle knowledge, and the ability to apply lateral thinking to complex challenges.

Qualifications

• Extensive software development experience across Linux and Windows.
• Strong experience with web-based development environments.
• Substantial knowledge of software engineering processes and lifecycle.
• Ability to apply lateral thinking to complex technical challenges.
• Experience using AI prompting responsibly in professional practice.

Responsibilities

• Automating software builds and informal system integration activities.
• Automating and maintaining business processes to improve efficiency.
• Monitoring and maintaining DevOps infrastructure, including container orchestration and build agents.
• Administering DevSecOps-controlled hosts and environments.
• Implementing best practices across source control and release management.
• Troubleshooting build and deployment issues in collaboration with IPTs.
• Configuring and supporting software development and project management tools.
• Providing technical code reviews and practical recommendations.
• Resolving issues throughout software development, integration and testing.
