Job summary

Accenture Melbourne is seeking a Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering Consulting to help clients modernise how technology is delivered. You will lead technical teams, shape roadmaps, and implement CI/CD, IaC, and cloud platforms.

This role blends leadership with hands-on delivery across diverse teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with security and business stakeholders to create measurable outcomes. Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or Platform/Cloud engineering.
• CI/CD design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
• Security automation and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to improve software delivery, DevOps maturity, and engineering capabilities.
• Assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to enhance automation, security, quality, and delivery performance.
• Design and implement DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Define roadmaps for modern engineering and platform transformation initiatives.
• Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and cloud-based delivery platforms.
• Support teams throughout project delivery, from strategy and mobilisation through to implementation and adoption.
• Mentor engineers and delivery teams, helping to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, security, and business teams to solve complex challenges.
