Job summary

Equal.pe seeks a skilled DevOps Engineer to support development, deployment, automation, and reliability of software applications and infrastructure. You will work across development and operations teams to streamline delivery, improve performance, strengthen security, and ensure scalable environments.

The role designs, implements, and maintains CI/CD pipelines, automates infrastructure, and supports cloud-based and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, lifecycle, automation, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of Linux, networking, monitoring, logging, and security.

• Strong scripting or programming skills using languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Understanding of Linux systems, networking, monitoring, logging, and system security.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
