Job summary

Launch Recruitment - IT Recruiting in Melbourne seeks a hands-on DevOps engineer to automate infrastructure, improve reliability, and scale production environments. You will maintain Linux systems, manage containers, and build automation solutions for streamlined software delivery.

Responsibilities include optimizing Ubuntu/Debian infrastructure, deploying Docker/Kubernetes, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux administration experience (Ubuntu/Debian).
• Proficiency in at least two of Python, Bash or PHP.
• Hands-on production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Ansible, Salt or Puppet.
• Strong networking knowledge, particularly DNS and DHCP.
• Excellent troubleshooting, automation and problem-solving skills.
• Must have Telcommunication or Networks background.
