Job summary

Empire Group in Brisbane CBD is seeking a Property Paralegal to support a busy property practice, focusing on development matters and off-the-plan projects. You will manage off-the-plan sales for developer clients and assist with land developments, contracts, and settlements.

The role offers exposure to leasing and estate planning over time, with direct collaboration with developers and senior stakeholders in a boutique setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Property Paralegal.
• Strong experience acting for property developers.
• Proven experience with off-the-plan sales.
• Confidence communicating directly with developers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage off-the-plan sales for developer clients.
• Assist with vacant land developments and community title schemes.
• Prepare contracts, disclosure documentation, and settlement documentation.
• Liaise directly with developers, CFOs and key stakeholders.
• Manage files and progression from commencement to settlement; maintain client relationships.

The Role
As a Property Paralegal, you will work predominantly on development matters, including off-the-plan projects, while supporting a busy property practice.
Your duties will include:

• Managing off-the-plan sales for developer clients
• Assisting with vacant land developments and community title schemes
• Preparing contracts, disclosure documentation, and settlement documentation
• Liaising directly with developers, CFO's and key stakeholders
• Managing files and transaction progression from commencement to settlement
• Maintaining client relationships and providing high-level service to developers

Over time, if you are interested in broadening your experience you can also gain exposure to Leasing and Estate Planning matters if you want.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Property Paralegal
• Strong experience acting for property developers
• Proven experience with off-the-plan sales
• Confidence communicating directly with developers and senior stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
