CBCity – The City of Canterbury Bankstown is seeking a Coordinator Development Engineering Services to lead the Development Engineering Services team, oversee complex development applications, work permits and major projects, and ensure protection of public infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, manage workflows, engage with developers and agencies, and drive governance and compliance with a strong focus on community safety and timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Extensive development engineering assessment experience in urban development.
• Knowledge of Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and related regulations.
• Experience leading technical staff and managing timeframes.

Responsabilités

• Lead Development Engineering Services team and mentor staff.
• Assess complex development applications, work permits, and major projects.
• Review designs, reports, and infrastructure works for roads and drainage.
• Provide expert advice, prepare assessment reports and conditions of consent.
• Manage workflows, timeframes, and compliance for decisions.
• Engage with developers, agencies, and stakeholders; represent Council.
