Job summary

Adelaide Development Corporation is seeking an organised Development Coordinator to support the delivery of our property development projects. You will work closely with a Development Manager or Associate across the full development lifecycle, from due diligence and design through approvals, construction and closeout.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the day-to-day coordination of property development projects.
  • Coordinate communication between architects, engineers, contractors, consultants and government authorities.
  • Assist with permits, easements, development approvals and related documentation.
  • Track applications through council and regulatory review processes, following up as required.
  • Prepare and maintain contracts, tender and bid documents, requests for proposals, contract variations and project records.
  • Monitor project programs, deadlines and budgets, escalating potential delays or cost overruns.
  • Support the appointment and coordination of architects, engineers, surveyors and other consultants.
  • Monitor progress against agreed scopes and review reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare project updates and progress reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate meetings, correspondence and information held within project management systems.

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Development Coordinator to support the delivery of our property development projects.

You will ideally have:
  • One to two years’ experience in property development, real estate or a closely related environment.
  • An understanding of the property development process.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to coordinate multiple tasks, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with consultants, contractors and internal team members.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn project management systems.
  • A relevant qualification in property, construction, planning, business or a related discipline is desirable.
