Job summary

Personalised Plates Queensland in Brisbane is seeking a Software Developer to join our engineering team and help shape the future of our products. You will work across a varied technology stack, building modern web applications with React and TypeScript and developing APIs using TypeScript, Node.js, and C# .NET, all deployed to AWS.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong skills in React and TypeScript.
• Experience building APIs with C# .NET and/or TypeScript.
• Solid SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with AWS environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to delivery.
• A genuine team-first attitude and desire to continuously improve.

Overview

We're looking for an ambitious Software Developer to join our close-knit engineering team and help shape the future of our products. Based in Brisbane, you'll be working across a varied technology stack with modern, bespoke and legacy platforms, collaborating with experienced developers, and contributing to solutions that are used every day. Our architecture is API-first, with an increasing focus on TypeScript APIs on Node.js, alongside existing C# .NET services, all deployed to AWS via automated CI/CD pipelines. A great opportunity for someone who loves variety, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to have genuine ownership over the work they do. You'll have the chance to contribute across the full development lifecycle, from design and development through to deployment and ongoing support. You’ll likely bring

• Around 3 years of software development experience
• Strong skills in React and TypeScript
• Experience building APIs with C# .NET and/or TypeScript

• Familiarity with AWS environments
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to delivery
• A genuine team-first attitude and desire to continuously improve

Bonus points if you have

• Exposure to Kubernetes or containerised environments
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and scalable application design
