Job summary

Wesbeam is hiring an experienced Despatch Manager to oversee outbound logistics at our Neerabup site. You will lead the Despatch team, ensure safe and compliant operations, and drive performance across DIFOT, inventory accuracy and customer service standards.

You will coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Sales and Supply Chain, manage transport partners and maintain data integrity in SAP. A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics and extensive despatch leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Leadership or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in a warehouse, logistics or despatch leadership role within manufacturing or logistics.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing frontline operational teams.
• Strong understanding of transport planning, load optimisation and DIFOT principles.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations and stock management processes.
• Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety legislation and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
• Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP, including logistics and inventory modules.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Despatch operations to achieve DIFOT, safety, customer service and cost targets.
• Develop operational plans aligned with production schedules and customer demand.
• Manage transport providers and carrier performance to maximise service levels.
• Build and coach the Despatch team to drive high-performance.
• Monitor and improve KPIs including DIFOT, inventory accuracy, loading efficiency and labour productivity.
• Ensure WHS and Chain of Responsibility compliance.
• Drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate with Production, Customer Service, Sales and Supply Chain teams to optimise operations and customer outcomes.
• Manage inventory control processes and maintain data integrity in SAP.
• Managing despatch-related budgets, labour utilisation and operational expenditure.

We're hiring an experienced Despatch Manager to oversee outbound logistics at our Neerabup site. You'll report to the Operations Manager and own safe, efficient, compliant operations—driving delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and customer service standards.

The role suits someone with warehouse, logistics, or despatch management background who can lead teams, push continuous improvement, and coordinate effectively across operations, customer service, and transport partners.

Your duties will include
