Job summary

Fletcher Building Limited is hiring a full-time Despatch Manager for our Perth Distribution Centre in Welshpool, WA. You will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and despatch duties, leading a team of 11 drivers and 7 store-people.

Standard hours are 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a salaried, competitive base rate. The role focuses on safety, continuous improvement, and strong leadership to ensure reliable dispatch and warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Prior despatch and/or logistics experience.
• Experience managing a medium to large team.
• Experience in fleet management or warehouse management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to relate to people at all levels.
• Computer literacy i.e. WMS, excel, word, outlook..
• Self-driven, proactive with a can do attitude and problem solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise, multi task in a fast-paced environment and a high attention to detail
• Commitment to Safety, OH&S policies and procedures i.e. Chain of responsibility
• Ability to work excellent hours of 7am – 3.30pm Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

• Report to DC Manager.
