Job summary

Gliderol is seeking a reliable Despatch Operator to support our warehouse, dispatch and delivery operations in Brisbane. This hands-on role involves forklift operation, picking and packing, loading trucks, and occasional deliveries, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork and customer service.

You will operate a forklift, move stock, complete delivery paperwork and contribute to a clean, safe workplace while supporting our customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Current Driver's & MR Licence with a safe driving record.
• Forklift Ticket or similar certification.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of performing warehouse and dispatch duties.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders.
• Move and store stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Complete occasional deliveries and collections.

Position Overview

Gliderol is a leading Australian manufacturer of residential and commercial garage doors and access solutions. We are seeking a reliable Despatch Operator to support our warehouse, dispatch and delivery operations. This hands-on role involves forklift operation, picking and packing, loading trucks, occasional deliveries and customer interaction, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork and customer service

What you will do

• Pick and pack customer orders
• Move and store stock within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks
• Operate a forklift safely
• Complete occasional deliveries and collections
• Complete delivery paperwork and records
• Support a safe and tidy workplace

What we require

• Current Driver's & MR Licence with a safe driving record
• Forklift Ticket
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Physically capable of performing warehouse and dispatch duties
• Availability to work morning shift Monday to Thursday (6:00am to 2:30pm) and Friday (6:00am to 12:00pm)

What we prefer

• Previous experience in a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Experience with picking, packing and stock control
• Experience completing deliveries and customer interactions
