Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking experienced Designers across Civil (Concrete), Piping, Structural and Mechanical to join our Head Office in Ascot, reporting to the Drawing Office Manager.

Based in Ascot, you’ll work on multiple projects across commodities such as gold, copper and iron ore, with regular site visits depending on project requirements. Strong CAD skills (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Tekla, Civil 3D) and a minimum 10 years design experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with discipline-specific drafting packages.
• Minimum of 10 years design experience.
• Broad experience with 3D CAD platforms and modelling workflows.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills in a design context.
• Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Certificate or Diploma in Design or Engineering is desirable.
• Experience with mineral process plants and bulk materials handling projects.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings (hard copy and electronic CAD files) in accordance with client specification, GRES Standards and industry best practices
• Be able to transmit clear and concise information through drawings to engineers
• Manage workload to ensure tasks are completed in an orderly manner, within times required for various projects
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and quality in the design documentation produced for activities under their control
• Experience in the preparation and review of design documents to schedules

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is a leading process engineering consulting and contracting company that specialises in providing high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries.

The Opportunities

We are on the lookout for a experienced Designers across several disciplines Civil (Concrete),Piping ,Structural and Mechanical to join our Head Office in Ascot, reporting to the Drawing Office Manager.
