Job summary

ACCIONA Australia seeks a Design Manager to join the Adelaide design management team, reporting to the Senior Design Manager. You will oversee all aspects of design management, including technical design review, cost planning, consultant management, temporary works, and direct client interface.

You will analyse constructability, address design flaws and construction issues, and lead cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Structural preferred).
• Experience in design management, including consultants and temporary works.
• Understanding of Australian engineering standards and practices.
• Construction experience is viewed favourably.

About the Opportunity

As Design Manager, you will join ACCIONA's Adelaide design management team, reporting to the Senior Design Manager. You will cover all aspects of design management, including technical design review, cost planning, consultant management, temporary works management and the client interface. You will analyse constructability, address design flaws and construction issues, and lead cross-disciplinary collaboration. You will also mentor junior engineers and work with local experts, suppliers and consultants. This role gives you broad scope and direct client exposure.
