Job summary

ACCIONA seeks a Design Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering designs across Australia. The role coordinates design inputs, reviews and interfaces for major infrastructure projects and supports planning, tracking, and documentation to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs, deliverables, reviews and interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, action tracking and design documentation processes.
• Work with engineers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure design requirements are understood and delivered.
• Identify, manage and resolve design issues, risks, and technical interfaces.
• Maintain design registers, monitor progress and contribute to effective engineering delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs, deliverables, reviews, and project interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, action tracking, and design documentation processes.
• Work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Assist in identifying, managing, and resolving design issues, risks, and technical interfaces.
• Maintain design registers, monitor progress, and contribute to effective engineering delivery outcomes.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering design, design coordination, or a related project environment.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams on infrastructure, construction, energy, or transport projects.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of design reviews, technical interfaces, deliverable management, and design documentation processes.
