Job summary

Davies Ross Consulting Pty Ltd – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Design & Development Project Manager to lead design-focused projects in Build to Rent and commercial fit-out. You’ll work with the Senior Development Manager across design, product, cost and delivery, with options for full-time or 3–4 days per week.

This is a design-forward PM role, requiring strong commercial awareness and delivery experience. The role spans design development, cost management, leasing considerations and construction

Qualifications

• Experience managing design-led projects across residential, commercial or hospitality sectors.
• Strong coordination between design teams, consultants and contractors.
• Good understanding of cost, value and delivery trade-offs.
• Ability to support leasing decisions and product development.
• Proactive, well-organised and client-focused with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate architects, designers and specialist consultants.
• Drive design development and consultant deliverables.
• Review designs for quality, function, buildability and cost.
• Support product development and leasing strategy.
• Manage programmes, actions, budgets and reporting.
• Support procurement and contractor engagement.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive actions through to completion.
• Support projects through design and construction delivery.
