Job summary

RECOR is seeking a motivated Design Draftsperson to join the engineering team. You will create accurate technical drawings and plans that align with project specifications and industry standards, ensuring clear communication among engineers, architects, and contractors.

You'll work across diverse sectors including new energy, commercial, industrial, residential, and retail across Queensland and Australia-wide. Hybrid work is available with a laptop provided to support remote work.

Qualifications

• Design or drafting experience for a Structural Engineering consultancy or related field
• Understanding of drafting principles
• Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit
• Experience using Bluebeam or 12dS is an advantage
• Understanding of engineering drawings and construction details
• Versatile with additional skills or willing to learn
• Strong ability to time manage and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create accurate technical drawings and plans that adhere to industry standards and project specifications
• Ensure effective communication between engineers, architects, and contractors through design documentation
• Review and stamp shop fabricator's drawings
• Consider budgetary constraints and project size to document efficiently without sacrificing quality

Your role will play a crucial part in the design process, ensuring effective communication between engineers, architects, and contractors. You will be working on a unique blend of exciting projects across the new energy, commercial, industrial, residential, and retail sectors, both across Queensland and Australia wide.
