Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Design Coordinator to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering designs across Australia. You will coordinate inputs, reviews, and interfaces for major infrastructure, energy, and transport projects.

You will work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure design requirements are understood and delivered, while maintaining design registers and assisting risk management and planning processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in engineering design and design coordination.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design teams on infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs and interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, and design documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders to deliver design requirements.
• Identify and resolve design issues and risks; maintain design registers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design inputs, deliverables, reviews, and project interfaces across major infrastructure projects.
• Support design planning, programme management, action tracking, and design documentation processes.
• Work closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure design requirements are clearly understood and delivered.
• Assist in identifying, managing, and resolving design issues, risks, and technical interfaces.
• Maintain design registers, monitor progress, and contribute to effective engineering delivery outcomes.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in engineering design, design coordination, or a related project environment.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary design teams on infrastructure, construction, energy, or transport projects.
• Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of design reviews, technical interfaces, deliverable management, and design documentation processes.
