Job summary

The skin clinic sunshine coast in Coolum Beach is seeking an experienced Dermal Clinician or Dermal Therapist to join a doctor-led skin clinic. You will manage your own dermal patients and contribute to integrated treatment plans for acne, rosacea, pigmentation, ageing skin and scarring.

Working alongside doctors, nurses and our cosmetic injector, you will perform HALO? lasers? LED therapy and other advanced treatments, with opportunities to expand your hours as your patient base grows.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years' experience in dermal or advanced skin treatments.
• Strong understanding of acne, rosacea, pigmentation and skin ageing.
• Confident performing facials, peels, LED and microneedling.
• Has laser and BBL experience, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
• Takes an evidence-based and considered approach to skin health.
• Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships with patients.
• Professional, reliable and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Motivated to develop their skills and build a loyal patient base.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own dermal patients.

Dermal Clinician / Dermal Therapist – Doctor-Led Skin Clinic

About the role

SunCoast Skin is seeking an experienced Dermal Clinician or Dermal Therapist to join our established doctor-led skin clinic in Coolum Beach.

This is an opportunity for a clinician who wants to work beyond a traditional beauty environment, with a strong focus on skin health, evidence-based treatment and advanced skin rejuvenation.

Working alongside experienced doctors, nurses and our cosmetic injector, you will manage your own dermal patients while also contributing to integrated treatment plans for patients with concerns including acne, rosacea, pigmentation, ageing skin and scarring.

Treatments within the clinic include

• HALO and fractional laser treatments
• PRX and chemical peels
• LED therapy
• Advanced facials
• Acne, rosacea and pigmentation treatment programs
• Medical-grade skincare and home-care planning

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 2–3+ years' experience in dermal or advanced skin treatments
• Has a strong understanding of acne, rosacea, pigmentation and skin ageing
• Is confident performing facials, peels, LED and microneedling
• Has laser and BBL experience, or a strong interest in developing these skills
• Takes an evidence-based and considered approach to skin health
• Communicates confidently and builds strong relationships with patients
• Is professional, reliable and enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Is motivated to develop their skills and build a loyal patient base

Relevant qualifications and Queensland laser licensing will be highly regarded.
