Job summary

Vanguard Australia is seeking a Fund & Investment Operations Analyst - Specialist to join our Derivatives and Collateral Management Team within Investment Operations. The role oversees daily OTC and exchange-traded derivatives operations, collateral management, and related reconciliations.

You will collaborate with investment teams, technologists, broker-dealers, and custodians, drive process improvements, and mentor teammates while contributing to risk controls and regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related work experience in Derivative Operations and/or Collateral Management.
• Calypso system experience preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily derivatives and collateral ops including OTC/ETD margining, valuation, and swaps lifecycle events.
• Maintains general ledger accounts and market value control impacts with accurate, timely execution.
• Builds relationships with investment teams, partners, brokers, custodians; coordinates timely resolution of operational issues.
