Queensland Department of Education is seeking a dynamic Deputy Principal for Corymbia State School in Park Ridge. The role is a temporary full-time position commencing 21 January 2027 and concluding 10 December 2027, with duties spanning strategic leadership, student outcomes and inclusive practices.

The Deputy Principal will support the Principal, drive a shared educational vision and foster partnerships to enhance engagement and wellbeing across the school community.

Responsabilités

• Support the Principal in leading the school community to develop and implement a shared educational vision that promotes high-quality learning outcomes for all students, deputising for the Principal when required.
• Demonstrate ethical, values-based leadership by embedding socially just, inclusive and equitable practices into daily school operations.
• Establish and maintain high expectations for student achievement and staff performance while actively engaging in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
• Build and sustain productive partnerships with parents, government agencies, community groups, industry and business to enhance student learning and school outcomes.
• Apply strategic, future-focused leadership by understanding relevant legislation and policies, effectively managing resources, and aligning school operations with strategic priorities and goals.
