Emmanuel College, part of the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS), Laverton, is seeking a Deputy Principal – Staff, Culture and Organisation to lead a high‑performing, faith‑based educational community. The role oversees strategic staff leadership, culture, development and engagement across two campuses.

With a strong emphasis on governance, risk, budgeting and community partnerships, the successful candidate will drive workforce planning, recruitment, induction and leadership

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, preferably Masters level.
• Demonstrate strong leadership capacity and organisational skills.
• Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Show commitment to Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• Enact strategic leadership and vision for a high‑performing organisational culture.
• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, induction and leadership growth.
• Foster culture, wellbeing and professional development.
• Provide organisational and operational oversight and governance.
• Lead community engagement, partnerships, events, marketing and publications.
• Ensure daily operations are stewarded by key leaders and compliant with budgeting.
