Derby District High School in Western Australia seeks a Deputy Principal to lead instructional, operational and strategic priorities for the primary school. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Principal and other Deputy Principals to strengthen staff capacity and student outcomes, applying evidence-based teaching and inclusive education practices.

• Strong instructional, operational and strategic leadership aligned to primary education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staff, students and families.
• Experience leading professional learning communities and mentoring staff.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and facilitate primary cluster meetings on curriculum delivery, student progress and data analysis.
• Coordinate daily staffing, resources and systems across the primary school.
• Drive year-on-year student progress and implement evidence-based teaching practices.
• Lead and embed the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM) across the primary school with trauma-informed practices.
• Collaborate with Deputy Principals to foster a positive, inclusive school culture.
