Job summary

Narrabri High School, a vibrant rural comprehensive secondary school in Narrabri, NSW, is seeking a senior educational leader to drive teaching, learning and student welfare across Years 7–12, and to model excellence while engaging with staff, students and families.

You will lead whole‑school improvement, manage timetables with EDVAL, coordinate resources, and build strong connections with local communities to support learning and wellbeing, in line with the school's strategic directions.

Qualifications

• Successful teaching experience across Years 7–12 with ability to lead improvement.
• Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare; ability to design inclusive programs.
• Educational leadership skills to build capacity and manage performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, students and parents.
• Ability to plan and manage resources to support teaching and learning.
• Knowledge of Aboriginal education policy and commitment to equity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exemplary leadership and management practices to inspire school-wide improvement.
• Model and promote inclusive interpersonal skills to engage staff, students, parents, and the community.
• Experience or willingness to use EDVAL for whole-school timetable management and leadership.
