Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Cumbria store, stepping in for the Store Manager as needed to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead an engaged team, drive sales, and uphold high service standards while maintaining health and safety compliance and efficient labor scheduling.

Qualifications

• Retail managerial experience required.
• Proven coaching and people-management skills.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and operational standards.
• Ability to meet sales targets and deliver customer metrics.
• Commercial acumen and industry trend awareness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; willingness to learn new systems.
