Department of Transport and Planning in Melbourne is seeking a Deputy Director Planning, Partnering and Engagement for a 12-month fixed-term, 0.6 FTE role based in Melbourne CBD. You will lead a multidisciplinary team within Data & Digital Engagement and Architecture branch, guiding strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.

Youll report to the Director, Engagement and Architecture, shape priorities, build strong relationships, and deliver impact across Data, Digital and Technology.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a digital and technological environment.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, portfolio management and intake/prioritisation for digital or technology initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building high-performing teams and driving process improvement across cross-functional teams.

About The Role

The Deputy Director, Planning, Partnering and Engagement is a key leadership role within the Data & Digital Engagement and Architecture branch, leading a multidisciplinary team across strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
