Job summary

The Australian National University in Canberra seeks a Deputy Director, Philanthropy, to lead a diverse philanthropy team and advance fundraising programs that align with University priorities.

You will build major donor relationships, work with senior leaders, academics, donors, and external partners to unlock support for strategic priorities and contribute to the ANU strategy. This is a fixed-term, full-time leadership role with significant institutional impact.

Position overview

As Deputy Director, Philanthropy, you will play a pivotal leadership role within ANU Advancement, helping develop the strategies, relationships and fundraising programs that connect the aspirations of generous donors and partners with the outstanding work of the University.
This is an opportunity for an experienced fundraising leader to influence philanthropy at an institutional level — working with senior University leaders, academics, donors, prospects, foundations, corporations and external partners to unlock significant support for priorities that matter to Australia and the world.
