Indigenous Carbon Industry Network Ltd is seeking a Deputy CEO to support the CEO in leading ICIN across Australia. The role partners with the Board to oversee operations and staff, with a focus on Indigenous carbon industry representation and governance.

The Deputy CEO will work with Directors and Members to advance national engagement, manage budgets, and support the strategic plan. Flexible working options include remote arrangements and part-time opportunities.

Formación

• A strong commitment to the purpose and values of ICIN.
• A degree, or enrolled undergraduate in a related field of study.
• Prior experience in leadership roles.
• Demonstrated understanding of the requirements of managing a charitable company.
• Highly developed communications skills including excellent networking abilities.
• Flexible, transparent and adaptive working style.
• Experience in managing people.
• Collaborative, open leadership style.
• Understanding of the Indigenous carbon industry.
• Ability to manage a busy workload with competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Support the CEO to oversee operational management of ICIN Ltd, including staff and contractors, and organise at least four Board Meetings per year.
• Provide leadership on staff management and representation at national events.
• Regularly report to the Board on risks, opportunities, financials, and workload progress.
• Assist in organising the Annual General Meeting and elections.
• Support responsible financial and HR management, including budgeting and payroll.
• Contribute to strategic reviews and the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
• Communicate with ICIN Members with briefings and updates on work and plans.
• Oversee Membership recruitment and onboarding of new members.
• Support administration, contract obligations, and legal compliance.
• Assist CEO and staff to ensure Members influence policy development and advocacy.
• Support Succession Plan for the CEO role.
