  • Board support
  • Income diversification and growth
About You

You will bring:

  • A proven track record of success as a CEO or senior executive, delivering strategic and operational results. Prior exposure to Aboriginal or community organisations, trusts, investment management or businesses with a strong social purpose would be highly regarded.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • An understanding of working with indigenous communities and a genuine appreciation and a deep respect for Aboriginal people and their cultures, including a commitment to Aboriginal self-determination and self-management.
  • Experience working effectively with Boards and providing clear strategic advice, quality reporting and sound governance support.
  • Strong financial and commercial and legal acumen, including budget management, asset oversight and decisions that support long-term income diversification, growth and financial sustainability.
  • An inclusive leadership style, with the ability to develop capability, strengthen organisational culture and lead change.
  • Strong judgement, high integrity and effective decision making skills.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement, communication, diplomacy and negotiation skills, supported by strategic analysis, policy development and project delivery experience.
