Job summary

Greyhound Australia Pty is seeking a hands-on Depot Supervisor in Alice Springs to lead daily depot operations, oversee freight and mail handling, and supervise the Freight Customer Service Officer. You will manage customer service, ensure safety and accuracy in load planning, and coordinate with the Operations Supervisors across the network.

You’ll work on-site in Alice Springs, balancing hands-on leadership with strategic oversight, while ensuring timely coach services and reliable freight

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a small team.
• Knowledge of freight handling and load planning.
• Experience handling cash and reconciling payments.
• Comfort with freight booking and depot systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate arriving/departing coach services and driver documents.
• Oversee freight and mail acceptance, loading, transfers and deliveries.
• Lead the Freight Customer Service Officer and set daily priorities.
• Assist customers, agents and other depots with enquiries and promote freight services.
• Manage depot cash, payments and reconciliations; keep records up to date.
• Ensure depot safety, equipment maintenance and compliance.
• Maintain safety standards and report hazards/incidents promptly.
