Job summary

Evolution Group is seeking a Depot Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day depot activities across multiple sites in Australia. You will coordinate crews, vehicles, plant and equipment, manage client expectations and drive safe, efficient project delivery.

The role emphasises administration, recruitment support and mentoring of operational staff, with a focus on continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in the traffic management industry.
• Previous supervisory/coordination/operational management experience.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience conducting site audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to build client relationships and deliver service.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety legislation and compliance requirements.
• A current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day depot operations.
• Coordinate crews, vehicles, plant and equipment to meet operational requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, employees and stakeholders.
• Act as primary contact for client enquiries and operational matters.
• Conduct regular site visits and operational inspections.
• Complete site audits to ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure operational documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and mentoring of staff.
• Manage scheduling and resource allocation to maximise efficiency.
