Job summary

Bupa Dental Mortdale is hiring a casual Dental Assistant - Receptionist to manage front-office operations, patient bookings, payments and records while supporting clinical care in a busy practice in Mortdale, NSW.

You will be the friendly face of the clinic, coordinating appointments, recalls and patient inquiries, and ensuring the treatment rooms are clean, prepared and compliant with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Deliver outstanding patient experiences by supporting chairside clinical care, assisting with treatments, x-rays, and maintaining immaculate treatment rooms in line with infection control standards.
• Be the friendly face and organised mind of the practice, managing patient enquiries, appointments, recalls, payments, invoicing, and maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
• Keep the practice running seamlessly by coordinating laboratory work, monitoring and ordering supplies, and ensuring schedules, systems, and workflows operate efficiently.
• Uphold excellence, safety, and integrity by working in line with practice protocols, regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, data security obligations, and Bupa values.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality front-office experience, overseeing appointments, billing, payments, and records.
• Support chairside clinical care and treatments as needed.
• Coordinate laboratory work and manage supplies to keep workflows efficient.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
