Job summary

Maven Dental Belconnen in Canberra is seeking a skilled and empathetic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. You will be the first point of contact for patients, supporting both administrative and clinical tasks within a friendly, patient-centred practice.

Responsibilities include booking appointments, reception duties, chairside assistance, instrument sterilisation, infection control and stock management, while learning from experienced clinicians in a well regarded

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist and Dental Assistant.
• Experience in dental procedures and terminology (On-going training will be provided to the right candidate).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in dental software.

Responsibilities

• Reception duties - meeting & greeting patients, general and booking enquiries, record keeping, payment & insurance processing.
• Provide clinical chairside assistance.
• Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic clinical environment.
