Job summary

Bupa Dental Bowral in Bowral, NSW is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant – Receptionist to join our busy clinic. This full‑time role supports clinical procedures, manages bookings, and helps deliver safe, high‑quality dental care in a friendly, patient‑focused environment.

You'll hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or have relevant experience, bring strong infection control practices, excellent communication, and a willingness to contribute to a supportive team and growing practice.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting or relevant experience (highly regarded).
• Proven chair-side assistance skills including instrument handling, suction, mixing dental materials, X-ray assistance.
• Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and WHS compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patient-focused and capable of supporting reception and bookings.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes.
• Assist with clinical procedures, maintain infection control, sterilise equipment and keep treatment rooms clean and ready for patient care.
• Support practice operations including appointments, confirmations, cancellations and rebooking.
