Job summary

Bupa in Sydney is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to join Dentistry By Design. You will support delivery of safe, high-quality dental care, assist with clinical procedures, manage infection control, and keep rooms clean and ready for patients.

Working hours Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:15pm, with emphasis on accurate scheduling and a reliable, team-focused approach. Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

Experience working as a Dental Assistant, or a genuine willingness to learn.
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded but not essential.
Strong chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and knowledge of dental instrumentation.
Ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with infection control standards, BDC procedures, and WHS requirements.
Organisational and administrative skills to support appointment scheduling, with a reliable, accountable approach to work and service quality standards.
