Job summary

Bupa in Balmain is seeking a Dental Assistant - Reception to support delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes. You will assist with chair-side procedures, maintain infection control standards, sterilise equipment, and keep treatment rooms clean and ready for patients.

Hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7.30am to 5.15pm. You will also help with appointment scheduling and patient communication, ensuring a smooth, friendly patient experience and adherence to

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Dental Assistant, or a genuine willingness to learn (Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded but not essential).
• Strong chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays, and knowledge of dental instrumentation.
• Ability to clean, prepare, and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment in line with infection control standards, BDC procedures, and WHS requirements.
• Organisational and administrative skills to support appointment scheduling, with a reliable, accountable approach to work and service quality standards.
