Primary Dental in Australia is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to join our busy team in Narellan. You will provide chairside support across diverse procedures and help deliver exceptional patient care while developing your dental knowledge within a supportive group.

We value excellent communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Cert III in Dental Assisting (or 3+ years of experience) is preferred; casual hours offered with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Dental Assisting or equivalent required; relevant dental experience considered.
• Excellent communication and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to dentists.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and service.
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures.
• Advise patients on care and post-appointment steps.
• Foster professional relationships with team, patients and staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Answer calls, book patients and provide admin support.

The Role

We are looking for a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Narellan whereyou will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Booking in patients
• Administration support

The Successful Candidates

• Have previous chairside dental experience preferred
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
