Primary Dental is seeking a Casual Dental Assistant to join our dental team in Leichhardt. You will provide chairside assistance across a variety of procedures, delivering exceptional patient care and supporting reception duties in a busy practice.

Ideal candidates have chairside experience and Cert III in Dental Assisting, with strong communication skills and a positive attitude. The role offers development opportunities within ForHealth Group’s dental network.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Dental Assisting (or 3+ years’ dental assisting experience preferred)
• Previous chairside dental experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills required
• Positive, can-do attitude essential
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside dental assistance to Dentists
• Deliver patient care and customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advise patients of care and treatment
• Foster professional relationships with team, patients and staff
• Maintain compliance with policies and procedures
• Answer calls and enquiries
• Book patients in and provide reception support

The Role

We are looking for a CasualDental Assistant to join our dental team in Leichhardtwhere you will provide exceptional patient care and chairside dental assistance in a variety of dental procedures. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you will be given the opportunity to further develop your dental knowledge and skills by our supportive team.

The Responsibilities

• Providing all aspects of chairside dental assistance to our Dentists
• Delivering exceptional dental care and excellent customer service
• Instrument reprocessing and sterilisation procedures
• Advising patients of care
• Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
• Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
• Answering telephone calls and enquiries
• Booking in patients
• Administration/Reception support

The Successful Candidates

• Have previous chairside dental experience preferred
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Have a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail
• Possess a Cert III in Dental Assisting and/or have three or more years’ dental assisting experience preferred
