Job summary

National Dental Care in Dubbo is seeking a dynamic Dental Assistant to join our modern practice on a part-time fixed-term maternity leave cover for 12 months.

You will provide clinical and administrative support, assist clinicians, and engage with patients professionally. Weekend and late shift availability is required, with ongoing training and opportunities to network across Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Dental Assistant experience (preferred).
• Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality clinical and administrative assistance to clinicians.
• Engage with patients in a positive and professional manner.
• Occasional reception duties as required.

About the Role

As a Dental Assistant in our thriving practice, you’ll play a key role in clinical treatment. You’ll confidently and expertly provide high quality clinical and administrative assistance to practice clinicians, as well as engage with patients in a positive and professional way. Your energetic nature and strong organisational skills will help to ensure the ongoing success of the practice and the satisfaction of patients. Some Reception work will be required.

Skills & Experience

You have:

• Minimum 1 year Dental Assistant experience (preferred)
• Sound computer literacy skills with proficiency in the MS Office suite
• Must be available to work Saturdays and late nights

• Highly professional, with a polished image and good personal presentation
• An excellent communicator - both written and oral - with strong attention to detail
