Avenue Dental Kawana is expanding its team and seeking a dental assistant to support a clinic with eight assistants, four dentists, and four hygienists. The role involves chair-side duties, sterilization, and lab work while delivering exceptional patient care.

Hours are four days per week with practice hours from 7:30am to 5:15pm (with a lunch break) and extended hours Tue/Thu. The hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience under the Health Professional and Support Service Award.

Avenue Dental Kawana has proudly servedthe local community for over 15years with exceptional dental care whilst providing an environmentofjob security and satisfaction for our team. We have enjoyed continual growth over theyears whichhas led us to expand our team further with another dental assistant.

This exciting assistingrole will involve supporting and working alongsidea team of eight dental assistants, four dentists and four hygienists, whilst completingthe following duties;

Being part of a team that promotes teamwork, open communication, cooperation, respect and understanding.

Adhere to and enforce all practice protocols and systems to ensure the smooth running of the back of house

Supported with the Practice Manager & Trainer to ensure overall practice cohesiveness, delivering the highest level of patient quality care, efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsible for working within the sterilization and lab room throughout the day.

Perform full timechair side duties as a dental assistant.

Delivering exceptional patient care every day.

Always going above and beyond the job role to increase patients expectations of our service.

Be a part of creating a culture within the team that promotes a high level of job satisfaction, respect throughout and strong bonds between team members.

Your hours are spread over four days throughout theweek. Practice hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:15pm (1 hour lunch).Tuesday & Thursday hours are 8am – 7:15pm (1 hour lunch + 1-hour staff meeting).

Rosters are issued 1 month in advance that will state which day the RDO will be for each week.

Hourly rate will be negotiated based on experience under the Health Professional and Support Service Award.
