Endodontic assisting at Endodontists on Collins is nothing like the stereotype. You won’t be spending hours passively holding suction or fighting sleep. Instead, you’ll be actively involved in complex, interesting cases, working under the microscope, supporting use of a laser, learning new skills and techniques, and working closely with our specialists. This level of engagement, variety, and ongoing learning is exactly why our dental assistants genuinely love what they do.

Endodontists on Collins is a specialist endodontic practice with four friendly endodontists and a team that genuinely support each other. We pride ourselves on being diverse, warm, and committed to exceptional patient-centred care.

We're looking for a new team member to work closely with one of our endodontists. You'll have the opportunity to build your specialist knowledge, learn from experienced clinicians and become a valued part of a supportive team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing chair-side assisting under the microscope (your own binoculars) with precision and care
• Maintaining meticulous infection control, sterilisation and clinical organisation standards
• Supporting patients throughout their visit with empathy and professionalism
• Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and reception team

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience as a dental assistant (at least one year)
• Excellent reliability, strong attention to detail and a commitment to high clinical standards
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced setting

The role:

• Part-time - 3-4 days a week, with some flexibility to be discussed
• No weekend work. Usual hours: 7:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Friday, depending on rostered days
• A modern CBD practice just a 2-minute walk from Parliament Station and all the cafes and food!
