Fairy Meadow Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. This is a part-time position based in Fairy Meadow, NSW 2519. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dental practitioners in providing high-quality dental services. This position is fundamental to the smooth operation of our practice and directly contributes to ensuring our patients have a positive dental experience.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dental practitioners during patient treatments and procedures


• Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols


• Greeting patients, maintaining patient records and managing appointment scheduling


• Taking radiographs (X-rays) as required and assisting with patient imaging


• Providing chairside support during restorative, preventive and general dental procedures


• Preparing treatment areas and ensuring all materials and equipment are readily available


• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions


• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe dental environment


• Assisting with reception duties and administrative tasks as needed


• Contributing to infection control and health and safety standards within the practice
