Impression Dental Group in Queensland is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our casual team. You'll support the dentists across appointments, prepare patients, and help maintain a smooth clinical flow in our 5-chair practice.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Dental Assistant is essential.
  • Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and empathy toward patients.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organised treatment area.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor dental supply levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised.
  • Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.

About the position:

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our vibrant team on a casual basis.
