Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Dental Assisting preferred.
  • Up-to-date vaccinations and serology appropriate for the role.
  • Experience with Dental4Windows advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support your assigned dentist, including proactive chairside assisting throughout the day.
  • Take ownership of the clinical room, ensuring it is fully prepared, stocked, and ready for all procedures.
  • Maintain the highest standards of infection prevention and control to ensure patient and team safety.
  • Provide a supportive, professional, and caring experience for patients at every interaction.
  • Assist with the efficient processing, sterilisation, and barcode tracking of instruments.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations across the clinic.
  • Support reception duties including appointment bookings, enquiries, billing, recalls, and follow-up calls.
  • Assist with stock management, external lab coordination, and in-house lab work.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join the Our Medical Dental team.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting dentists and the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the clinic, while delivering a high standard of care and an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support your assigned dentist, including proactive chairside assisting throughout the day
