Job summary

The Smile Designer Dental Studio in Preston, VIC, is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a boutique, design-focused practice that blends world-class dentistry with a patient-first philosophy.

You will assist in general and cosmetic dental procedures, support and reassure anxious patients, maintain a pristine clinical space, and help with front desk tasks. This role offers a 4-day workweek, no weekends, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

About the Role

As a valued member of our clinical team, you’ll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities that go beyond just chairside assistance:

Assist in delivering exceptional care during general and cosmetic dental procedures.

Support and reassure patients, especially those feeling anxious or unsure.

Maintain a pristine clinical space and uphold best-practice infection control standards.

Help out with reception tasks like greeting patients, booking appointments, and answering calls.

Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.

Is kind, professional, reliable and a true team player.

Has customer service experience (preferred, but not essential).

Front desk/reception experience and HICAPS knowledge (training available).

Familiarity with Carestack Dental Software (not required, but a plus!).
