Job summary

Embrace Orthodontists is an expanding orthodontic practice with three locations across Canberra — Belconnen, Manuka and Gungahlin. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team on a full-time basis.

You will work closely with our orthodontists and clinical team to provide high-quality care, supporting chairside procedures, sterilisation, and a welcoming patient experience throughout the orthodontic journey.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced as a Dental Assistant (preferred).
• Experience in orthodontics is highly regarded.
• Friendly, approachable and confident with patients.
• Caring and compassionate, particularly with children and teens.
• Reliable, punctual and highly organised.
• Able to work across Belconnen, Manuka and Gungahlin locations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures
• Preparing surgeries and clinical areas
• Sterilisation and infection control
• Providing patients with friendly and reassuring chairside support
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming clinical environment
• Supporting the team with day-to-day clinical and administrative duties
• Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey
• Working collaboratively with our wider practice team

About the role
