Job summary

Warami Solutions is seeking ticketed demolition laborers for manual deconstruction and site clearance across Sydney. You will operate power tools and hand tools to dismantle structures, manage debris and ensure safe, efficient site cleanup.

The role requires a white card, CPCCDE3030 demolition ticket, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Daily overtime and Saturday work may be required with penalty rates. Competitive hourly rates start at $40+.

Responsibilities

• Manual deconstruction using sledgehammers, crowbars and chisels.

• Remove fixtures, fittings, carpets, plasterboard, windows and doors.
• Sort debris and assist in safe site cleanup and waste disposal.
• Spotter for heavy machinery and support safety around the workzone.

Job description

We are looking for ticketed demolition laborers for manual deconstruction and site clearance on demolition projects, operating power tools and hand tools to dismantle structures, remove fixtures and fittings, and manage debris and waste materials.

We deal in all industries such as New Builds, Restorations, Commercial & Residential. Due to a spike in work, we have various work across Sydney CBD, Western Sydney, Inner Sydney, South Sydney & Wollongong region.

Key responsibilities

Manual Deconstruction: Smash, break down, and dismantle walls, roofs, and structural components using sledgehammers, crowbars, and chipping hammers.

Power Tool Operation: Operate jackhammers, concrete saws, grinders, and pneumatic drills to cut through steel and concrete.

Internal/External Strip-Outs: Remove fixtures, fittings, carpets, plasterboard, windows, and doors before the main structural teardown begins.

Debris Clearing and Sorting: Shovel rubble, load wheelbarrows, and sort waste materials into bins to separate recyclable concrete, timber, and metal.

Hazardous Site Cleaning: Assist in prepping areas for hazardous material removal (like asbestos or lead) and clean up the site under strict supervision.

Spotting and Safety Support: Act as a spotter for heavy machinery operators to keep the public and other ground crew safe from falling objects.

Loading and Unloading: Move heavy materials, set up safety scaffolding, and load skips or trucks for waste disposal.

What we need from you:

A valid white card

Demolition ticket CPCCDE3030 (This is a must)

Minimum 3 years' experience in demolition and labour works

A team-first and project-first mentality with a positive contributing work ethic

Flexibility on daily overtime, and occasional Saturday works (Penalty Rates apply)

An adherence to legislative safety laws and company policies

What you can expect:

Hourly rate of $40+ and daily allowances such as fuel, meals etc

Penalty rates on overtime
